I keep a positive life and I love learning about the world. I'm still figuring it out and looking to meet different people and learn little things about other cultures. I strive to say yes more than say no, but I am comfortable in setting my own boundaries as well.
This trip around I'm travelling with my husband. Both Barry and I have good manners and love to entertain. We are usually found hosting friends over and playing cards. If you have any board games to play, we're in! Hopefully we can find out more about your country together, and learn about history too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a friend return from her travels and tell me that it's a great way to meet locals.
Now I stay because it truly is the best way to visit another country and to understand different customs and ways of living.

Interests

I love snowboarding and beer. When the weather is nice I love biking. And all year round I love yoga. I am not super rambunctious, but having an enjoyable time is what life is all about. I love exploring and taking in everyday beauty.

All music is good as long as it's not full of hate. I'm a romantic comedy movie fan. Any book is a good book, but great books take you somewhere. I like the author Sydney Sheldon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone cliff jumping at Horseshoe Lake in Jasper, Canada. I have seen most of Canada, but this is my first experience in the world.
Now I'm bringing my husband along to explore some more, he likes to hike and to take things easy. We're a yin and yang kind of couple.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's all about what someone is willing to learn. We teach through our actions and how others perceive them and that's how we all grow. I love that no matter where you go people are generally the same, but we are all unique at the same time.
