About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep discovering, and travelling always more!

ABOUT ME

Well I was born and raised in Montréal from a Québécois dad and a French mum. From as far as I can remember I always have been interested in different cultures and languages. I love to discover new places but it's so hard not to go back to those cities or countries that really made an impression on me..
I'm fun to be around, I think my sens of humour is magical and I love having a beer and a laugh with friends. Also creating new extreme sports like extreme backyard bowling, or extreme living room Haki Sac (I still nee to improve my technic..)
I ultimately would love to be able to live of acting, as cliché as it sounds, and I'm currently participating in some amateur theater plays in Adelaide to gain experience in acting in English, as French is my first language.
I love art in general, but my real passion is cinema. I haven't see the third of what I should have, but I'm always trying to improve my knowledge.
I also quite enjoy sport, which you pretty much have to if your boyfriend is Australian. They live of it. That and meat pies. Anyway. Ice Hockey is by far my favorite, and my team is Montreal Canadians, of course.
I wish I could play guitar, as I really love music, but I need to put much more effort and find a way to get my fingers to grow longer and thiner.

PHILOSOPHY

Dépêchons-nous de succomber à la tentation avant qu'elle ne s'éloigne.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When Chris and I were in Montreal, we both really wanted to visit New York, and epic city for eveyone who isn't from there. We were moneyless, me in debts as usual and Chris studying full time. I heard of couch surfing from some friends, and we stayed at a girl's place named Maria, who was very accomodating.
That's when we fell in love with the experience and promised ourself to do it again, surfing again, or hosting.
Travelling can be so easy and cheap if you know how to do it wisely (even if I just spend money everywhere).

A year and a half later, we could finally repay the favor to people from around the world, having a place of our own. It's great!

Music, Movies, and Books

I could never start without ending. But German cinema is on fire right now with awesome movies like 4 Minuten and Fatih Akin's trilogy (Gegen DIe Wand and Auf der Anderen Seite and I'm still waiting for the third one).
When I feel like I'm having too much of a good day I might watch some Lars Von Trier to get everything in place.
I love foreign and independant movies, but I'm still going to rush out to the movie theater when the next Batman comes up.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned how to cook rice properly the other day for the first time in my life and I must say it was a life-changing event.

Oh and also, craking your knuckles doesn't give you arthritis. I feel so good with my self now.
