ABOUT ME

I am trying to be as open-minded and tolerant as I can. I like to try new things and meet people that are different. As I'm studying translation, I am very interested in other cultures and languages and I LOOOVE to travel. In my freetime I like to cook, read, dance, and hike. I am also a big fan of Scuba Diving and surfing.
My dream is to see as much as possible of our beautiful world :)

I'm not able to host at the moment, as I'm living in a very small apartment, but I'm happy to meet and show you around in beautiful Heidelberg :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the concept of Couchsurfing. It brings people from all over the world together and it makes traveling possible for everyone, no matter what budget you have. :) It is simply amazing!
Eric (hosted me in Sydney in 2013) and I have been friends for 5 years now and we've met again in Vietnam and in Spain. So you really can find friends for life on Couchsurfing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite author is Camus, my favorite novel is L'Étranger. I love reading, especially classics! Kafka, Goethe, Tolstoi... language can be so beautiful! I also like watching films, among my favorites are The Pianist, Django unchained, 12 years a slave, Grand Budapest Hotel and so on :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking through several countries! I met so many lovely and amazing people, learned more than I could ever imagine and had so much fun, I can barely describe it. :) Traveling gives me an overwhelming feeling of freedom.

I am always eager to leran from others. As a translator and language-lover, the opportunity to get insights in culture and language is invaluable for me. That's why I love getting in contact with locals so much!
