About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring my new wonderful hometown HAMBURG
ABOUT ME
After enjoying Australia's beautiful weather and beaches for 9 months - I am now back in Germany and got my first job as a real teacher.
Australia wasn't my first experience living abroad. I also lived 6 months in Czech Republic and 4 months in the Netherlands. I even learnt to speak Dutch and Czech but I almost forgot everything... I hope someday I go back there to challenge my language skills.
I like exploring new cafés. Coffee is one thing I spend so much money on. I don't mind bad weather - but I feel uncomfortable when it is getting more than 30 degrees. Making decisions is not easy for me, I always have to talk to friends and family a hundred times before I decide.
As a teacher I experience every day what the new technologies do with the kids - please kids go outside for hours to play there!
I have one sister and two brothers and love them! This fact also makes me a good surfer: I am used to live together with others, being quiet when others are sleeping, cleaning up behind myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went to a few CS meetings in Brno and Amsterdam and met nice people!
In Australia I started surfing and had only great experiences so far.
Interests
When travelling I like to visit art museums. The last weeks I worked at different farms and noticed that I like gardening - you can be quiet while working, do some thinking and after everything is done you can SEE your work.

Music, Movies, and Books
Since I've been to Australia I love John Butler Trio and Angus&Julia Stone. German music I like is from Clueso, Casper, BOY and Talking to Turtles.
"Eating Animals" from Jonathan Safran Foer - I became a vegetarian because of this book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With a group of people I cycled through the Baltic States and am proud to have cycled up to 80km a day.
The experience that it gets VERY cold at night in the Australian outback! I've been there in July, slept under the stars in a sleeping bag - and wow it was so so cold.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Estonia, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania
Countries I’ve Lived In
