We would like to break our daily routine to embrace new people's culture, food and adventures!

ABOUT ME

We're a married couple with 2 wonderful children, 2 adorable dogs, and 2 cutie cats, looking to seek new adventures.

We feel like citizens of the world, amd really enjoy meeting and knowing new pleople, specially from other countries/cities of our beloved world.

We decided long time ago that we loved to live close to nature, that's why we moved to a charming house in the countryside. This opportunity allows us to invite people home, make some good barbecue or prepare amazing food to share with them, and really enjoy good times as such.

PHILOSOPHY

We work to live and not live to work!
Our priority is of course our children, and our extended family (our 4 newphews live at 5 minutes from home, so we enjoy them all regularly!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We feel kind of newbies in CS, despite the fact that we already "couched" travellers home. Those travellers actually became friends! :)

We would really love to get more involved in making cultural exchanges a reality in our lives more often, which implies hosting people and families home, and enjoying to do the same very soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted many friends and people from different countries for some time, but we don't really have had many experiences in CS yet (only 3 actually :)).

But we hope to be updating this very quickly with lots of experiences, livings and anecdotes!

Interests

We're a very food/music/nature/animal lovers oriented family!

Vanessa owns a culinary blog full of flavours of the world and mixtures of different cultures.

Nico plays piano and Noah plays guitar and drums. Vanessa and Chloe love singing. It's in our veins! :)

Regarding nature, we love to be in contact with it. We're do not go trekking every weekend, we prefer enjoying our surroundings.

Finally, we have many pets, so yours will be welcome as well. We are strictly against animal cruelty, so please avoid us if you like Toreros! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy watching movies, specially during the weekends. We love Woody Allen movies, terror movies (only when the kids are in bed!), and some thrillers in general.

In terms of music, we have a really wide range. We really love 60ies (Noah is a Beatles freak, despite he's 6, Vanessa is a deep Janis Joplin fan). Nico is also on metal side, or Jazz/fusion stuff, but plays Chopin on piano! Chloe has a crush for Bruno Mars.

Our kids are 2 and 6, so there's no much time to read... We do our best, Only upon recommendations, but we really hope to change that soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At this point of our lives, we think that nothing compares to the most incredible experience we both had: the birth of Noah & Chloé.

Teach, Learn, Share

We'll be happy to share with you our surroundings and help you to catch the essence of Malaga.

Vanessa loves teaching her recipes, that`s why she created a food blog. So she'll be pleased to cook and share some of her recipes, including of course Malaga's typical ones, in exchange of new influences and recipes from all around the world.

And of course, if you are a musician, we'll be pleased to jam together. Noah will join on drums or maybe guitar! :) And the girls will sing!
