About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To laugh when it rains & chase rainbows
ABOUT ME
I'm up for couch surfing experiences as I love to be spontaneous and find myself in new situations and places. I've lived in Western Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, Canada and Denmark the past few years. I feel grateful to have so many precious travel memories and recall the kindness of people met along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
The world doesn't need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds. - Dalai Lama
Whenever I start to consider if I have or have not made enough 'progress' in my life so far, I refer back to this idea that it's not the external trappings of success that I should use as a guide. It is to what extent I have been a genuine, loving and trustworthy soul.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have travelled widely, hosted travellers in Australia & Denmark and also couchsurfed with both strangers and mates. I have really enjoyed showing travellers around Perth and south west of Western Australia. Unfortunately I can't host at the moment as I live in a shared apartment in Aarhus.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed in a bunch of countries. Flew to the states in 2011 and started out on a couch for a few nights enjoying vego restaurants & catching subways in Brooklyn , New York. Took a long Greyhound bus trip to ottawa and crashed there for a bit. The Canadian friends I stayed with had a laugh cos I ended up biking on the wrong side of the road! From there I ended up flying northwest and hanging out with sled dogs in Yukon, Canada. A bunch of adorable huskies were pro couch surfers in my cabin.

Teach, Learn, Share
Can we maintain enthusiasm? None of us want to stagnate and develop pins & needles being stuck in one place. Save enough and plan the next round of travel.

Cooking up a storm, funky dancing, making cups of tea and sharing random travel stories.
