Hello!

My name is Vanessa Marchese. I'm 32 years old and work in online advertising. I was born in Lima, Peru (by blood I'm Italian 50%, Peruvian 25%, Spanish 12.5% and Irish 12.5%). At 19 years old I moved to Barcelona, where I lived for 4 years. After that, I moved to The Netherlands. I've lived in Rotterdam, Utrecht and for the last 6 years in Amsterdam. I own an apartment there which I'm currently renting until the end of the year, since I decided to travel around the different cities, villages and regions of this wonderful country :)!!

This year I decided to quit my office job and start my own Online business, so that I could travel and work at the same time. I'm currently building Webshops, although my main goal is to create an NGO about shared sustainable knowledge worldwide :).

I love socializing, having fun, interesting conversations and meeting new people and cultures :). I also travel together with my partner in crime, a super lovely and sweet chihuahua called Gaia. Do not worry, she doesn't bite or bark and it's fully potty trained to go outside to take care of her business ;)!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm exploring different cities and regions in the Netherlands as I work on my online projects. I find it super interesting to meet new people this way. So far I've moved in with friends of mine around the country, so I'm excited to start with Couchsurfing!!

As from next year (when I have my apartment back) I will definitely start hosting too :)!! I do also have a big house in Lima, Peru, where my family there can host you anytime :)!!

I love everything involving teaching, learning and sharing experiences, vibrations and knowledge. At the end of the day I believe the biggest lesson in life is to appreciate everything that the Universe puts in your way. People and experiences, everything happens for a reason ;)!
