About South America:
Those buses that don't cross the borderline towards another country almost always are cheaper.
The best days for taking a cheap flight are monday or tuesday.
If you want to go to Ushuaia, the most cheapest way to arrive is with a flight until Punta Arenas (Chile) to continue to take a bus until Ushuaia. You can spend 50% less than the typical route from Buenos Aires. Obviously it´s for all who are living outside from Buenos Aires.
If you are in Argentina and you want to cross to Chile, the best would be to buy a open round trip ticket. tickets are cheaper in Argentina than Chile.
It´s pretty possible that CRISTO REDENTOR (Mendoza-Santiago de Chile) crossing will be closed some days in winter season (August, normally).
Countries I’ve Visited
