Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was participating in another similar project, "hospitality club", and people keep telling me that I should join Couch Surfing! So, here I am :) I Hope it will bring me as much good experiences as I had in the other project!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I always had good experiences with this kind of projects! You can check my profile in hospitality club under the name of "vaniafneves".
My greatest experience was to host Sandro, a brave man that was cycling from Austria to Lisbon! He was participating in a project, and for each km he did, several companies would donate the same amount in money for children Charity! During his journey he only ate what people gave him in each couchsurfing family/house. He was doing around 100 km per day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once, when I was living in Slovakia, I went normally shopping to the supermarket, and in front of the supermarket door there was this homeless man waiting for people’ charity. So I went inside to do my normal week shopping and I also bought 2 bananas to offer him. When I came out, I go towards him with the bananas, when he sees me; he started to talk in a fast Slovak that I couldn’t understand. When he saw my stupefied face, and he realized I was getting a little bit scared, he smiled, took my 2 bananas, and divided it, one for him and one for me. And he smiled again saying thank you.
For me this was a lesson for life! Amazing; still without house, without clothing, without money, without nothing, and SHARES a banana with you…
Teach, Learn, Share
These last years I been wondering about fastness of life and things! everything is soo fast, things don't last long, you can go everywhere soo fast! or even without moving, in your city, you can go to salsa dance clases, eat in a vietnamite restaurante, and buy clothing from India! Things/people are moving, changing, and we must follow this crazy rhythm, without enjoying every each moment. This is sad! I'm a pro "feel the moment" girl. One thing at a time!
