About Me
When I have the time and energy I would like to offer my home and help to people with mental illnesses travelling. I myself suffer from one and I certainly know how hard it is to have to explain this to strangers and ask for help in urgent situations. Even if I don't host you, you can contact me if you need help with anything regarding that topic (:
**I'm not much of a photographer, that's why i have barely any pictures. I just prefer enjoying the moment without a mobile phone (;
Hi (:
My name is Liz and I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria. I lived 6 years in Seoul, Korea, and now am back in Vienna searching for something I want to work in in the future.
I am a free & independent soul, however super sensitive and empathetic, enjoying it to spend time with a few close friends and/or family. I like nature & animals, books, indie music, exercise and am always open for trying new things (: and my brain is always overflowing with more or less realistic ideas not only for creative activities but also philosophical hihi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I live with my parents hosting is not an option but through being hosted and meeting people while traveling I have came to love Couchsurfing, especially because I've never really been enthusiastic about a trip to somewhere and having nothing to do with the locals. For me the exciting part of traveling is getting to know and talk to the people I meet there. It's all about the encounters you have while exploring the world ^^
Interests
I enjoy indoor activities like reading, crafting, watching movies, making music (i sing and learn the guitar), painting etc as much as outdoor activities, like swimming, badminton, going for a walk, skating and so on. Exercising for me is part of my almost-daily routine, I'm someone who needs a lot of movement but appreciates the slow and quiet times equally.
oh and I obviously love languages ^^forgot to mention that
- reading
- traveling
- languages
- psychology
Music, Movies, and Books
music: mainly melancholic indie ^^
movies: horror/thriller/non-fiction
books: german classics, Korean contemporary literature, horror/thriller/futuristic novels
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
achieve my dream by moving to korea and building my own social foundation and trying all kind of different things while living here.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share stories and experiences from all the adventures I had so far, not only while traveling but during my whole life and if you're interested my knowledge of languages as well ^^
of course we can also do crafty stuff together, go for a hike, go eat somewhere or go to exhibitions or anything else really^^
and I'd love to practice whatever language we are speaking, listen to your stories, learn about you as a person and hopefully make long-lasting memories <3
