Hope they'd say that I'm friendly and enjoy interesting company; a lover of good food and drink and conversation. Love most of the arts, especially opera. Read a great deal and can hold forth on any subject for hours unless checked -:)Exchanging ideas is a delight.

Interests

I'm a painter and all things arty and creative touch me - plus love wildlife (birds especially) The dadaists are my passion but the symbolists are creeping up there - my painting is currently concerned with myth. Birds keep making appearances.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live Music events mostly. The fact that they disappear forces me to pay full attention and to carry them with me. Parzival at the Royal Opera (from the 25 quid seats on stage); Peter Knight and Danny Thompson at the Troubador in Earls Court; Jazz/rock fusion events in SE London pubs. Once was invited to feel the back of an opera singer running through a scale and that was awesome,not quite human
