Hello, I am an Architecture student from Chicago, IL. Currently I am doing a study abroad program in Italy. I will be in Genoa, Italy for a semester. Within these four months, I am hoping to travel around Europe as much as possible. Not only do I just want to enjoy my time, but I want to see many Architecture that I have studied about and dream about seeing. As a person, I am open to trying new things. I love traveling and learning about different cultures. I especially love meeting new and nice people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about Couchsurfing from a friend. I am trying this out myself. I want to travel and see Europe as much as possible without breaking my bank account HAHA. This is also a great opportunity to meet new people from all over the world. I find that locals are the best when it comes to knowing where to go and what to do. My goal is to meet people who are willing to meet other people and create friendship connection just by common interest.

Interests

I am interested in Architecture, Arts, and Food. I love to eat and taste food from every cities I have been. My biggest interest is learning a different language from people and trying to have a conversation with them. Currently, at the villa, to enhance my Italian, I would have small conversation with the chef and cleaning lady. They are all lovely.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music, but my favorite is whatever that makes me want to get up and dance. My favorite artist is Beyoncé (American Artist), B2ST, EXO, Super Junior (KPOP), any Reggaeton (Spanish music). Oh and any house DJ music cause my best friend is a DJ.
My favorite movies is all of the Pirate of the Caribbean because I love Johnny Depp. I like movies that has quality like Sherlock Holmes, Inception, and X-Men. I have taken classes in Sci-fi film and literature film so it’s hard to enjoy film without analyzing it. HEHE.
I like to read a lot of fiction so I can take my mind of my surroundings for a while. Some of my favorites are Game of Thrones (also my favorite show), City of bones, Hush Hush, and currently I am reading Queen of the Tearing which is pretty good so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I have done is fundraise over $700 dollars with less than $300 budget for S June Smith Center. This shows me that I can do pretty much anything if I put my mind to it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach people how to dance, speak my language, knitting, and whatever they want HAHA. I actually want to learn how to play an instrument. I want to become a well-rounded person, but I lack being able to play an instrument. I would love to learn how to play piano.
