About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm easy-going, down-to-earth and cheerful. I like traveling, making new friends, meeting people from all over the world. I believe everyone has something to learn from.
Come and tell me your story, I'm a good listener too.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to the fullest! Keep smiling!
To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries. ~ Aldous Huxley ~
The old dreams were good dreams; they didn't work out, but I'm glad I had them - Robert James Waller, The Bridges of Madison County.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I knew CS through a local newspaper. Surfing and hosting when possible, willing to offer help if anyone needs info on the countries I've been to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2010, I spent 3 weeks travelling to Australia, most of the time was without companion. Besides enjoying the attractions and sightseeings, I was hosted by and met very nice local people who showed me how beautiful life is through their kindness and hospitality. This was also my first CS experience, one I will never forget in my life.
Interests
I like outdoor activities, gathering and traveling. I like flowers, plants, beautiful sceneries and of course, nice food especially local food at places that I have visited.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I like a bit of drama, classical, fantasy, some action or thriller as well (e.g Forrest Gump, Blood Diamond, Inception, etc...). Not very much into TV series or sitcoms but a big fan of Friends and Prison Break :)
Books: no specific taste, I read all types that people give me as a present.
Music: country music, folk songs, instrumental, pop ballads..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My very first solo backpacking trip to Bangkok-Thailand. That was during the big demonstration of the red-shirt people around Bangkok (I was stuck in the crowd for a while). I was there alone, no companion, a bit scared but it was a very interesting experience I'll never forget.
Been to Uluru, outback adventure in Australia, hiking throughout the day, at night sleeping in a swag under million stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not an excellent cook, but if you wanna learn how to make some traditional Vietnamese dishes, I can give you a hand :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to help if you are interested in Vietnamese language and culture.
