ABOUT ME

an astrologer once predicted that i would never spend much time in my hometown and uncannily enough thats pretty much how my life has played out so far... i sailed with my dad fueling iranian war ships as a kid, went to a boarding school in the niligiri mountains when i was 8, did college in a rural part of tamil nadu, lived in cochin for a year, moved to pittsburgh for grad school and now work in phoenix..

watch a lot of independent & foreign language films.. don't have a particular genre of music that i'm inclined to.. tripping on ethiopian jazz at the moment.. like to read classic literature & works of fantasy..

was caught in some very rough weather in the middle of the atlantic... a first hand experience of nature's fury..

i've been trained in hindustani classical music and play the harmonium.. also play a little guitar..
