We are fun-loving adventurers who love to see new places, and meet and learn about new people! We've lived in New Zealand in Auckland, and in vineyard and orchard country on both the North and South island, and within the US, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, spent the past few years living in Kansas City, and we just moved to California!

We host when we have our own place, and we surf and meetup when we travel. And we're always keen for a CS meetup.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing has been such a cool thing both while living, and while traveling. We really enjoyed CS meetups in Kansas City and in Auckland (the weekly drinks at Bungalow 8 is always a great time) We also rang in 2013 in Auckland at a CS meetup, but by far the best experience has been all the amazing people we met and friends we made when we were hosts in Oregon, Kansas City, and in our little Auckland apartment, and while surfing. It's the people that make CS. We love to learn better ways to live from others.

NERD ALERT!

Vasha's thing is neuroscience and doing bioinformagic. Also loves other sciences, computers, robots, artificial intelligence, music, and visiting the underwater world snorkling and scuba diving.

Dar's passion is Physics, and building things. Also loves to read Sci-fi, and just to learn. Genetics, computers, space!

We sometimes brew drinks, and love learning to cook new yummy foods.

Musica, film e libri

We got pretty obsessed with electro-swing for awhile, Vasha is into tropical house at the moment, and Dar loves nudisco. But most all music except for too much whiny-ness.

As of recent Dar has been trying to address Vasha's lack of pop-culture knowledge. Marvel movies, Star Wars are the recent things we've been watching.

Looking up one day from work at a vineyard, at the end of a row at the top of a hill, and seeing the beauty of New Zealand. I'll show you the picture if you ask :)
