About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Don't look back in anger ;)

ABOUT ME

I was never very good at SAYING things about myself. Not because I don't know enough, I just think it's easier to act than talk. Which is not to say I don't like to talk :PBut I also like to listen! I am curious about things, places, but most of all people.I love to discover! I happen to have studied foreign languages, and after having had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad, never again have I been able to deny myself the pleasure of diversity.I've met thousands of peolpe in amazing situations, shared incredible times, but I still feel like i've seen only the tip of the iceberg. I try to keep myself involved in things that bring me joy, and forget bad experiences. I don't believe in owning things and my most precious gift are my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd rather die in a storm than not have known the rain!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I LOVE travelling, most of all I like to host. It's easier to just take someone on a guided tour to the present than try to build the whole picture in words. You let people inside your house and they breathe your everyday air, not your travel excitement.I choose my guests carefully and I can not remember one single negative experience. The most touching couchsurfing message I've ever gotten was the verification postcard, saying "The world is smaller than you think!"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best cs experience until now has been when i hosted 3 Spanish youngsters I met on the street one day and offered them a place to sleep.
It was the living proof that cs is not only about sleeping over at strangers' houses, but sharing experiences, smiles, moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope I can efficiently share my language skills and hope to learn as much as possible. Not only to be able to better express how I feel, but understand as much as possible how the others do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I must admit i choose my hosts less carefully than my guests. I bring them the fresh air of the road and the well settled dust on the things i like and keep. My stories age well and i add to them every day. The richer they get the more i can leave behind. I try not to rock my host's boat too much, although many times they said i've left them with a hunger for the road.
I respect and enjoy both our similarities and our differences.
