Music, literature, films, photography. I'm a musician (traditional instruments) and a writer. I like long road trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music: I like traditional music, Greek and from around the world, as well as folk music. Can hear most things from jazz to classics, freestyle and gypsy punk. Some random artists I like: Dead Can Dance, Nick Cave, Nina Simone, Philip Glass, Billie Holiday, Tom Waits, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Chainides, Thanassis Papakonstantinou.

Some favourite authors: John Fowles, Laurence Durrell, Umberto Eco, Albert Camus

Some favourite film-makers: Stanley Kubrick, Peter Greenaway, Mashako Kobayashi, Jim Jarmusch, Federico Fellini, Patrice Leconte, Terry Gilliam, Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

I also love Hugo Pratt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoyed my road trip from Tehran to Athens. Also another one, crossing Brazil from south to north. Wish I had more time for those kind of things...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could show you around various places in Athens and teach anything related to Greek culture and history. I like hearing stories and perhaps sharing some of mine.
