Hello!

I'm a 28 year old Londoner who loves to travel. I work as a policy adviser in the civil service, but my real passion is writing and performing music (inspired by artists like Sigur Ros and London Grammar).

Back in 2016 my girlfriend and I visited South East Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and the Philippines) before journeying to Canada and the US, and finishing off in Iceland.

My favourite place in the world is Scandinavia, so I love visiting Iceland, and have also been to Norway (Oslo, Flam, Bergen, and Tromso) as well as Sweden and Denmark. I'm mainly drawn to this part of the world for to the incredible landscapes, but I'm also part Norwegian - so I'm getting back to my roots a little bit too.

I've also massively enjoyed visiting SE and East Asia - Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore were my most recent visits. I'd go back to all of them for the food alone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used couch surfing a few times while travelling, and I've always loved it. It's so much fun meeting local people, and of course locals always know the best places to visit and things to do!

I think meeting new people from the areas I visit is one of the best reasons to travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote a book when i was 16 - a revised version of something i started when i was 10, and something i'm currently (re)working on now! It's about soldiers and morality during war, with sci-fi and fantasy undertones.
