ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Tom, I am 27 years old, recently graduated university, and currently working in hospitality and saving up for an extensive trip around Asia. After taking a long break from any couchsurfing activities I have recently finished my studies and thus found time to get involved again. I am an easy going and social person who enjoys meeting new people from all around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all going to die someday so we may as well have a good time whilst we are here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at a guys place in the middle of a rice field in Japan this one time. We sat up watching cheap American cable... good times all n all. Apart from that I have stayed in a few couch surfing places but it was a few years ago now. Keen to get back into it but this time return the favour in the form of hosting.

兴趣

My interests include hiking... travel... got a big interest in Asia actually, especially Japan, I love that country. Movies, the list could go on for a while... and books, especially Steven King novels. Ummm what else, I like cricket also, but I am not sure how many people are even going to know what sport it is. Massive interest in travel, I would really like to see anywhere and everywhere before I die...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Worked in a hotel in the middle of Tokyo for 8 months. And I hiked from the northern most point of Hokkaido Japan to the southern most point, that was an amazing experience. I worked in a beach bar (see the photos) in Cambodia for 3 months and had a great time. Learnt so many things then. I also went to a high school in Japan for one year when I was 18.
