Love the outdoors; rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, mountaineering. Love movies; classic, foreign, action, adventure, drama, comedy. Love house music, jazz, classical, opera. Enjoy dancing; tap, bhangra, jazz. Can't wait to go travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal experiences have led me to the outlook that life is too short to be unhappy, and it is important to do what you want to do when you want to do it because you might not get the chance again. Have also discovered Vipassana meditation which teaches one to experience the reality within. I am trying to find the balance with my mundane life and my spiritual life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just signed up to CS. Working at a job where I'm living out of a hotel for the next few months, then hoping to go travelling after that. When I get back to Canada I'll be happy to open my couch for travellers needing a place to crash.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have never couchsurfed officially. Just met a guy at a new job, and in talking I mentioned I wanted to save the money I made to go to South America. He told me about couchsurfing which I had never heard about. Unofficially I have stayed at friends places here and there, or after a long night of fun, and have likewise hosted people in the same manner.

Love classic movies; anything Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey
Bogart, Edward G Robinson. Love Kevin Kline, Helen Mirren. Favorite movie is probably the original Sabrina, Heat, Inception. Too many to name here. Love progressive house music, tech. Very into opera, jazz and classical. Like to read Paolo Coelho, John Krakauer, like reading plays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun come up from a mountain summit is one of my favorite things to do.
