I am not your typical Couchsurfer. For starters, I'm 2.03m tall :)

Currently living in Zagreb, Croatia with my gf Petra and I play basketball professionaly.

Easy going, friendly, laid back and somewhat clumsy (as you could've guessed).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is my passion, with each country and each city i go to, I become addicted more and more. Already planned a bunch of trips to the detail in my head, just need the time and some $ to make it happen :)

Interests

I'm a professional basketball player and because of my career I have put my education on hold. Have been an electrical engineering student for a couple of years before going full pro. Have lived in my home country Croatia and also in Boras, Sweden for a year (played basketball there).

Really like the outdoors, hiking, camping and nature in general.

In my spare time I like to read, go to a pub quiz and learn about a lot of different topics (geography, history, sports...)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mostly '70s, '80s and '90s rock and some Croatian rock and other genre bands. Generally I can listen to any genre and am pretty flexible on that matter.

Movies: My favorite directors are Woody Allen and Stanley Kubrick. I like a good comedy (prefer the Brittish: Monty Python, Only fools and horses, Black Adder...). Also like war themed movies, a good horror and just about anything else... except musicals :P

Books: A lot of different topics: books about self growth, biographies of succesfull people, history books, books about traveling...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Became both European champion in College basketball and also in FIBA 3on3 streetball.

Most valuable player (MVP) in Croatia basketball top division in 2014./2015. season.

Bungee jumped from a bridge near Šibenik, Croatia :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, beginner cooking skills, happy to help clean the apt, work in the garden or anything else you need :) also, will be happy to share my life story, travel experiences, my view on life, some jokes...

Pretty good to adapting to different companies, can talk just about anything from the weather to the questions like "What is the meaning of life?" and "Does God actually exist?"
