About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel light

ABOUT ME

I TRY to be honest, just, funny, caring, wise, determinate, hardworking and do succeed from time to time.

I'd like to describe me as a wise child of the universe but I am still far from having a grey beard or wisdom for that matter. I tend to be more on the passionate side for good or ill. :)

I like to have an evolving understanding of myself and what surrounds me. I like to see things grow, plants, people, myself. I like to take the time to look at sunsets. I definitely like to travel and I like to stay places for a while. I like sugar!

When I was young I used to collect four leaves clovers, i don't know if it had an impact but I think I have been rather lucky overall :)

PHILOSOPHY

My general philosophy is
-To enjoy life, be happy whatever
-To be grateful
-To exercice my capacity to accept reality as it unfolds.
-To ask questions
-To discover new things
-To involve myself in the world and be part of the solution.
-To try to have the wisdom NOT to fix things working fine.
-To help if I can.
-To do no harm and some good.
-To persevere.
-To take it all with a big grain of salt and to laugh at it all (in a good way)!

I try to live the middle way and I am a bit suspicious of radicalism. Balance is my goal. That said, is there something as too much love?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good times!

A party of 40 csers for new year. We almost tore the floor apart dancing in the kitchen.

Sleeping in a swede-american violin making apprentice workshop in the south of germany.

My strangest was a bona fide a bit crazed train-hopping turkish vagabond who ended up staying two weeks in my big flat because no one knew (amongst the six of us) who had invited him in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned to motorbike in Vietnam. My first ride was a 600 km accross the countryside. A wonderful and (at times) gruelling experience. In that occasion I learned a lot about letting go of non essential things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to juggle! Pershaps if we're in high spirits we could go and look at the constellations (I can at least point to the big dipper...).

What I can try to share though depends on what kind of meeting we will have. Sometimes it's a smile and to welcome you into my house. Sometimes, we may share meals and experiences or some great insights into each other lives. Who knows, sometimes we may even come to share friendship. I try my best to be open to the gifts life brings.
