About Me

Puh, how can I say it best?

I'm a big music-listener, but as well a (pretty bad, but at least I try) musician.
For me, the best time of the year is summer (of course)! I don't like the cold weather in the winter, but really love going to swim, festivals, go outside with some friend, a slackline and a good card game! That's Summer!

I'm working for a NGO called "Viva con Agua", campaigning for clean water worldwide. It is pretty famous and popular in Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get in touch with you!

2 years ago a friend told me to try couchsurfing in Amsterdam. It was such an awesome experience (we're still in touch and really good friends), that I have to continue with surfing. I really don't like the "normal" city tours with guides. I rather go to the locals and learn something really interesting about the city/area.

Interests

Oh, the list would be way too long...

  • festivals
  • cooking
  • beer
  • drinking
  • music
  • surfing
  • swimming
  • tours

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm, movies on the big screen... I'm addicted! Too many to list here...
Some random ones that impressed me lately:
Enter The Void (Gaspar Noe)
I Stand Alone (Gaspar Noe)
Birdman
Interstellar (Christoph Nolan)
Carnage (Polanski)

My second passion... music! I have the feeling that music is one of the most intense ways to connect and communicate with people.
When I was about six years old I just had the urge to learn how to play piano, so my father gave me a few piano lessons. Unfortunately , we had to sell our piano, so there was no change to work on my skills, but I always was a big listener.
I started with classical music (Beethoven, Liszt), continued with Jazz (especially John Coltrane), then finding my music: Reggae. I'm kind of a music nerd, but always open minded to everything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll tell you some stories, while drinking a beer (or something else).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- All I know about music
- All I know about life :)
- cooking

Learn:
- All you know about music
- All you know about life :)
- cooking
Apart from that, please teach me whatever you know, I'm a curious person and an eager listener!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything I have with me and a lot of stories. And good (If you like it) music.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, Turkey
