Hello fellow travelers! I’m Roger Oh, originally from Johor, Malaysia, but I’ve been living and working as a lawyer in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. Despite pursuing a career in law, I’ve found myself at a crossroads lately, feeling the urge to explore new horizons and cultures. Australia has beckoned me with its allure, offering a fresh perspective and new possibilities beyond the confines of my legal practice.

My journey isn’t just about finding a place to lay my head; it’s about connecting with people and cultures. I thrive on meaningful conversations and cultural exchanges. Fluent in Malay, English, and Chinese, Recently I’m also delving into some Indonesian dialects like Javanese, Sudanese, Medanese, and Maduranese, along with languages like Myanmar, Tagalog, and Hindi.

Apart from linguistic adventures, I’m deeply interested in spirituality and self-discovery. Authors like Eckhart Tolle, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Osho, and so on have shaped my perspective, and I find solace in meditation and the rhythm of dance.

Having traveled to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, India, and Kazakhstan, I’ve collected stories and experiences that have enriched my journey. Now, I’m excited to embark on a new chapter in Australia, eager to immerse myself in its vibrant culture and forge new connections along the way.
