About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a musician (hammered dulcimer) performing professionally at festivals, and during slow seasons I support my world traveling habit through street performing.
ABOUT ME
I'm a musician and composer, and can be found performing a wide variety of music on hammered dulcimer throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. I started off as a part-time musician in 1997, going full-time in 2002. I got a degree in Computer Engineering from Ohio State in 2000 and decided to follow music instead, picking up a Master's in History (Early Modern England) from the University of Cincinnati in 2005. My eventual retirement plan is to go back for a Ph.D. and give myself a few more years to figure out the next step.
PHILOSOPHY
I live in the moment with an eye to the future, trying to follow a middle path that won't disappoint me were I to either die tomorrow or live to be 100.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with many friends over the years as a temporary guest, and have several guest bedrooms throughout the US that have been designated "Vince's room". In places I've visited I often have a local friend who will host me for a few days, but I'm looking to expand my range a bit.
