Overview
About Me
I was born in 1993 in the little but beautiful city of Ávila, in Spain. In 2004, I moved to Ceuta, a little Spanish city in the north of Africa. In 2011, my degree in Journalism started in Madrid and nowadays I'm an Erasmus (not a stereotypical one) in Istanbul, Turkey. Why Istanbul? I came here in 2009 with my family and I deeply fell in love with the city. It's magical! So when I had the oportunity to come here, I couldn't drop the chance.
I'm curious, open-minded, calm, a little bit lazy... I love to discover new things and sharing knowledge with others. When I travel, I want to know how the local people live, think and act.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I've always heard of it and I never dared to try. I think it's a nice way to discover new places and getting to know them as a local, which is the way you fully live a different city/country...
Interests
Football and travelling are the loves of my life. I spend a lot of time watching football, reading about it, writing about it (I write in a Spanish online magazine), playing when I can (although I'm very bad at it :D) and I love FIFA. About travelling... well, I've been travelling since I was a little child so it's in my veins, I do enjoy discovering new places all around the world: getting to know their culture, the food (I love cooking too!) and sharing different points of view of life.
I don't enjoy too much crowded or noisy places like clubs, but I love having a cold beer (even if I'm not an usual drinker) or whatever while chatting about culture, politics, international relations, history... anything that I can learn from :)
I'm in love with beautiful landscapes, those ones that, when you look at them, you feel in peace with the world and with yourself...

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost everything, but if I have to choose, I take rap. I once had a rap band but we were not good. :D I also like rock, electronic, funk... I'm happy to listen to local music too.
Movies? I'm not a cinephile, but if you want to know my favorite one, it's Inception.
Books... I was an avid reader but when I started university, my interest for reading decreased. I promised myself one day I will go back to my old reading habits. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode a looooooooong slide down the Chinese Great Wall! :D
Teach, Learn, Share
It's pretentious for me to say what can I teach... I don't know. Maybe a little bit of Spanish, anything from the places I've been to, my experiences in life... the same as everybody!
I want to learn from the locals: food, traditions, way of thinking, politics, issues... whatever! Travelling is how you learn the most :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
It's the same as in the last one, I think I just can be myself. I love to talk, relax, discover places... and I can share with you my experience and my dreams if you want to hear of them :)
I can share my point of view as a Spaniard, I guess we see some things in different ways and that can make both of us grow.
