About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Complete my Ph.D. and get a stable job in academics.

ABOUT ME

I am a Ph.D. student in Sports Sciences, and completed an M.Sc. on Mathematics, while still having another M.Sc. on Computer Animation and Game Technologies. This fact alone tells a lot about me: I tend to go wherever the wind takes me.

I am currently planning (more like daydreaming) to go on a motorcycle trip. Maybe Greece, or Romania, or Ukraine. I haven't decided yet.

I am a people person, in some way: while traveling, I prefer to walk on a street full of people pursuing their daily chores, and observe their culture, instead of visiting a static building, claiming "it is culture". I get bored very easily at static places, and I love watching people. Those being said, I'm not quite talkative either. But I love to listen.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn, learn to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: mostly independent, preferably satirical or political eg. Ce jour-là, Tengoku to jigoku, Bloody Sunday and numerous shorts.

Music: possibly experimental, instrumental-heavy music with rather complex rythms eg. Xploding Plastix, Amon Amarth, Eluveitie

Books: books that really tell something, not just "word arts". I want to learn, want my thought to be provoked. eg. One Day in My Life (of Bobby Sands), Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Ecology of the Automobile

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does surviving a traffic accident count? If not, my life is rather dull.

Countries I’ve Visited

Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
