Hello Couchsurfers, we are a lovely couple who are traveling through Thailand from Mid August til Mid September and we are really looking forward to get to know local people and enjoy and have a great time together.

Ronald is 24 and a former Journalism student, very communicative, creative and enjoys to meet new people and make new friends. He is currently studying his Master's Degree in Economic Sciences.

Verena is 26 and a very funny and communicative person. She likes cooking and you can spend some lovely hours talking and laughing with her. She just finished her Master thesis in Education and is now one step away of becoming a great teacher for young adults.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For both of us it's the first time that we travel to Thailand. Some of our friends already went there for backpacking and they told us that it was such a great experience. That's why we decided to go backpacking through the country ourselves, too!

We are two very open-minded persons who like to get in touch with the Thais. We don't need no posh hotel, we would rather enjoy staying with you guys and learn more about the culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ronald travelled through Ireland and Northern Ireland and met really nice people who soon became good friends. He enjoyed a lovely Guiness in the Gravity Bar, a huge tower inside the Guiness Store House. During his stay, he worked for a radio station.

Verena had the chance to see a lot of countries like USA, UK and United Arab Emirates during her time as a student.

One Amazing thing we are doing right now: Traveling through Thailand from Chaing Mai over Bangkok to Ko Samui :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Ronald can teach creative writing, playing the guitar and table tennis.

Verena can teach cooking, yoga and organization and structure ;)
