About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Appreciate what is within and around me

ABOUT ME

I like to live an old fashioned sort of life, simple, sustainable, and close to the land. Much of my time and energy revolves around food: growing, preserving, lacto-fermenting, cooking, herbal medicine making, and educating.
I've worked with garden and nutrition programs in Vermont schools, had a small organic vegetable farm in Ohio, with organic vegetable seed production, and am manifesting my own farm again.
I love to travel and enjoy having roots and community to return.
I believe that trusting, interdependent communities are essential to a healthy planet. Food is my method of building and strengthening community. Someday I hope to live in a treehouse.

PHILOSOPHY

Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Twice I have pilgrimaged to the Maine coast to harvest seaweed and each time it has been such an empowering, cleansing, awakening experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share cooking skills, nutrition, gardening, herbal medicine. I would love to learn more about shamanic healing, carpentry, building, welding, hunting, and building self-reliant and resilient living systems.
