COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've done both some hosting and some surfing- so far so good, well better than good actually, love the experiences and love the people i've met through CS

Music, Movies, and Books

qotsa, them crooked vultures, gogol bordello, dub fx, manu chao, beirut, faithless, the cure, ramones, depeche mode, talking heads, fat boy slim, muse, billy idol, the prodigy, nick cave, gorillaz, and a whole bunch of bands from the balkans area

absolutely love dostoyevsky. also everything by kundera, bruckner, houellebecq, burgess, pist'anek, balzac. the picture of dorian gray, the importance of being ernest, hero of our time, the godfather, candide, the great gatsby, breakfast at tiffany's, blindness, and of course the hitchhiker's guide. a special treat for me is dystopian literature, but the all-time favourite is the little prince by antoine de saint exupéry

and films... well here's what and who i love, from the top of my head: almost everything by guy ritchie, tarantino, nolan, and tim burton. film noir in general (all about eve especially), clint eastwood as blondie and dirty harry, jack nicholson in absolutely everything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

it's amazing to know that you can go to literary any part of the world, and meet perfect strangers who will make room for you in their lives for a day or two, and who will treat you as a friend :)
