About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Happiness with no strings attached

ABOUT ME

I can be really talkative when I am with strangers, so if you at any time want to give my vocal cords a break, just let me know. I won't be offended. I like to be on the computer more than a healthy amount, but I like to eat healthy (when there is a healthier option, like low fat ice cream), so I think that balances it out. I am really big into being independent, so when I started Couchsurfing on my year long trip half way around the world, that was a big life lesson about being able to rely on others to get you to where you'd like to go in life, and places you never knew you wanted to go. Opening yourself up to other people is the scariest and greatest thing I have picked up from my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

Never be afraid to say what you think. People may like you for it, and then they might not, but either way, at least you are being honest with yourself, and true to who you are. Everything else will fall into place from there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only been Couchsurfing since 1/2 through a year long trip, so hopefully at the end of this trip I have a place, and then I will start hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a surfer so far, and so far the most important part of that experience has been to be treated as a friend rather than a guest. Friends are hard to find when you're traveling from place to place, so when you've been hosted and hosted as something special, its nice to go home to a place that treats you like home, not a hotel.

Interests

I love live music and will almost never turn down a swim at a warm beach. I like to practice martial arts and yoga, and I like to meet people who are on different paths than mine so I can switch off the one I've been walking on when it gets too warn.
