Overview
About Me
I'm a fun-loving, kind and laid-back Finnish girl who's always ready for an adventure! I'm studying education in Intercultural Teacher Education and I'm really open-minded. I consider myself friendly and cheerful and I tend to see the positive side of things. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm about to start my exchange at the University of Melbourne in February 2017 and I can't think of a better way to get to know new people and the city than couchsurfing! It'd be fun to make new friends by staying at locals and also by attending events; whether it's a picnic or a party, I'm up for it! :)
I'd also love to host guests here in my hometown Oulu after coming back to Finland. I'd be happy to show the guest our favourite parts of the city!
Interests
I love travelling; exploring the world is one of the best things in life. I'm a bit of a foodie; I love cooking and baking - the eating part, in particular. I enjoy music, hiking and arts, especially drawing. If it's warm in summer (which lasts like two days in Finland), I usually spend my time on the beach playing beach volley, and I also like football, basketball and some other sports. Though, I have to emphasize the fact that I'm not good at any sport, I just do it for fun and don't take myself (or life in general) too seriously :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Acoustic music is my favourite kind of music, but I enjoy a wide variety of genres.
I can't decide a favourite movie but I like watching Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother and GOT.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did my teaching practice in a local school in Mauritius - different, exciting and an amazing experience!
