ABOUT ME

I'm a 24-year-old girl from a small town in Finland called Varkaus. I love traveling, but I love Finnish baseball even more ;) which is why I prefer to be in Finland at summertime. I have friends all over the world which is marvellous (and convenient, too, haha), and my friends are the most important thing in the world to me after my family. I have an identical twin sister who I love (and sometimes hate), and two other older sisters.

I've lived in Saarbrücken, Germany for 6 months, and I'm now living in St Catharines, Canada. I think it would be great if everyone had the chance to live in another country for a while because you learn so much about ... everything when you have to adapt to a different culture and way of life.

My hobbies include choir, orchestra, floorball, Finnish baseball, sports in general, music, and more recently yoga and capoeira.... I'm always open to new forms of entertainment.

My favourite movie of all time is "The Thin Red Line", and I like Terrence Malick's movies in general. Väinö Linna's classic "Tuntematon Sotilas" (the unknown soldier) is the best book ever written.
