Hi!

I am from the Netherlands, my name is Veerle, a name that makes no sense in any other language than Dutch, so you can also call me Vicky/Vero/Veronica. I am 22 and studying a master in Criminology.

I had my first CS experience in 2017 in Australie amd it was amazing! I wasn't really sure about couchsurfing and thought it was a easy way for travelling, so I sent a request, I really had no clue. My host quickly responded, and if you dont want to read everything: me and my 2 friends had an amazing and fun weekend in Agnes Water.
We ended up with an experienced host, we actually stayed for 3 days and nights. A lot of good and nice chats, beers, ciders and nice cooking. After three days we left with a full stomach and a new friend in Australia :) This experience opened my eyes for couchsurfing and I definitely want to make more friends, have more fun and surf more.

About me: happy girl, likes to talk a lot about whatever, I am openminded, except for bigots. I am a bit nerdy, not geeky (sorry Star Wars is not my thing), and know a lot of silly facts. I like travelling (no shit Sherlock) and I'm very interested in the culture, cuisine, nature and language of the countries I'm visiting, so tell my everything about you city/town/area!

I really like to cook nice meals, looooove cheese, but I can also make more tasteful and healthy meals.

Music: Indie/alternative, classic rock, some electronic music, and now and then old school hip hop or ska.
Books: I am reading a lot of young dutch writers, but also classics, ancient Greek plays, etc
Movies: absolute fan of Quentin Tarantino. Don't like cliche Hollywood movies or bad comedy movies. Exception: disney animations.
