About Me

This is Jess. My husband Philo and I have been traveling for three years and love learning and teaching. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love meeting new people and sharing space, stories, information, and life with others.

We work with a nonprofit organization that is building open source blueprints online, and soon a working community model for sustainable fulfilled living for all aspects of life.

In the meantime, we love to live in community with others while we travel and find it preferable to the less sustainable and more boring (in our opinion) option of having a designated space just for the 2 of us.

Interests

We have so many!

Traveling, nature, hiking, mother nature, camping, father nature, sustainability, delicious food, veganism, spreading love and kindness, castles, epic music, juggling(Philo), art, physical activity, universal laws & knowledge, metaphysics, astro-theology, sacred geometry, magic (undocumented science), the nature of reality, Dr Who, and so much more

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes these are all super important to us. We especially are into classical music and epic soundtracks for movies and video games, but we love many kinds of music. Movies we like right now are usually sci-fi/fantasy or documentaries. The books we read are self improvement or esoteric genres, for the most part.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ummm... How to pick? I guess quitting an AMAZING coveted position at the top of a corporate organization to go explore the world and try to make a bigger positive impact would be considered amazing (or crazy) by most people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes, that is pretty much our life LOL.

Philo and I have led seminars, retreats, online courses, classes, sessions- you name it!

We love helping people in whatever way we can and we also love learning new things from being in new environments or with new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversations, lots of fun, board games. We also enjoy cooking for our hosts. We are very clean.

We can also help with:

- Cleaning and organizing
- Yard work
- Computer repair / internal cleaning / tune up / training / file organization
- Photoshop / Web design
- Writing & Editing
- Cooking vegan food
- Just ask, we are very diverse

We can provide info on any of the following:

How to make delicious healthy hearty vegan meals, how to replace almost anything toxic in your house with a cheaper and more healthy version, the nature of reality and why we are here on planet Earth, how to run an online business, how to pack for ultralight hikes, sustainable living, how to travel for 3 years straight, business and online marketing tips/strategies, how to find your true passion...

Anything you want to know about anything we listed above and more!
