About Me

CURRENT MISSION:

Conquer the world with Compassion, Music, and Love.

ABOUT ME:

"Nothing great was ever achieved without passion."

One of my core philosophies in life is to "keep it real." I'm pretty laid-back and avoid stress whenever possible. That being said, when it's time to turn on serious mode, I am the most dedicated and ambitious person you'll ever meet. Music has such an important role in the very fabric of my being. It allows me to
express myself in a universal way, communicating a crucial message about oneness and empathy. I try to regulate being level headed and cynical. It's in my nature to step outside the box and be unique; spreading good vibes wherever I go. I have a lot of respect for people that are honest, humble, and willing to put others before their own well-being. The purpose of my existence is to make a positive, lasting impact on my friends, family, and humanity as a whole.

PHILOSOPHY:

I live and breathe a plant-based lifestyle.

*Please note that I don't live in NYC*

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try to embody the ideals of CS on a daily basis. This network has given so much to me. I am fundamentally a changed man, a better person without a doubt, as a result of all my Couch Surfing experiences.

Part of being a good couchsurfer is to spread the message. My goal is to attract as many awesome peoples as possible to this amazing network!

Always looking for an adventure. Surfing will commence ASAP!!!

Interests

I'm an adventurer and explorer in the purest sense. I love the process of familiarizing myself with a new environment. Exploration and athleticism go hand-in-hand. I love all kinds of solo sports (i.e. snowboarding, windsurfing, swimming, etc.), as well as organized team sports like Basketball, Futball, and Volleyball.

Food is life. I've been cooking since I was a child. That passion for food has led me down a path of plant-based cuisine. I cook every day, trying new recipes several times a week. There's always something new to learn with food, which just further drives my passion.

As I mentioned in my "About Me" section, music is my lifeblood. It all started with banging pots and pans as a baby, which evolved to real drums and percussion in early adolescence. I'm a groove machine. So, be prepared to dance if you hear me drumming.

Favorite shows: Cosmos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, House of Cards, Rick and Morty, Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, and The Simpsons.

Some of my favorite books: Things Fall Apart (Achebe), The Decameron (Boccaccio), The Guide (R.K. Narayan), Be More Chill (Ned Vizzini), Crime and Punishment (Dostoevsky), Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Robert M. Pirsig), Art of War (Sun Tzu), Manufacturing Consent (Chomsky), and many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hiked ~ 26 miles through some of New York's most dangerous terrain in less than 30 hours while wearing a 30 pound backpack.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to think that I'm a jack of all trades, but a master of none. There is always something new to learn though. Whether it's about philosophy or politics, cultures or music... I relish in the opportunity to accumulate more knowledge. The more I know, the better I feel and the more I understand.

So please, tell me your story.
Tell me about your adventures.
Tell me about your cultural experiences.
Tell me about your hardships.

As long as you're willing to share, I am willing to listen!
