About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a lifelong student who advocates for animals' rights to be free from torture and inhumane treatment. I practice a vegan lifestyle. I am dual certified to teach art and special education, and I'm an administrator at Southern Connecticut State University. I am a member of my local mycology club, and I forage primarily for mushrooms, ramps, autumn olives and wild raspberries.
PHILOSOPHY
I aim to reduce senseless suffering among human and nonhuman animals, alike.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed across the United States from California to Connecticut. I traveled from Sacramento north to Seattle and as far south as Tucson, surfing the couches of many amazing people. I couchsurfed east through New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and back up the east coast. I have also enjoyed couchsurfing to places close-to-home including Cape Cod.
Interests
I love to make soups, participate in mutual aid, enjoy potluck dinners, play in river whirlpools, learn to live more sustainably, engage in lively debates, examine the past for learning purposes, dream of living in a geodesic dome with a porch, camp in relaxed settings, and listen to DemocracyNow.
