Hi! I'm Sam (or 莎莎，都可以！）I grew up in the United States, and spend a couple years in China and Taiwan. I've recently traveled a good amount of southeast asia (summer 2018!) I was lucky to go to China / taiwan / hong kong / tokyo / Thailand / malaysia / singapore / indonesia / and australia! I'm currently in Vietnam!

The summer after I graduated high school, I did a month on the Camino de Santiago (mostly spain, but some other parts of europe too that I really loved and highly recommend!)

I love being outside, hiking, and vegan food! I'm a total people/animal person, and I'm always down to have a good time and do something new. I'm looking to learn from the world!

I love to read! Fiction is probably my favorite. I'm working my way through the Harry Potter series in Chinese right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During high school, I lived in Beijing for a year with a host family and went to Chinese high school. I learned so much more than just Chinese! I saw and understood a new culture, and it's really shaped my life ever since.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach! Chinese/english/how to read music/ how to knit/ how to cook/ anything really! I'm great at learning things off of youtube, so we could learn together.
