TRAVELLERS PLEASE READ:
- Because life is hectic I simply can't host everyone. I host for the sake of company, making new friends and fun :)

- I cannot always show you around if time is short but you are welcome to stay here non the less. We can always find the time to go out and eat and such. In most cases I will be able to pick you up at the train station and drop you off there on arrival/departure.

IF YOU ARE STAYING:
- Please show respect and be polite.
- Show care if you use any of my belongings.

THE COUCH:
If we match you will have a very nice and comfortable stay here. I'm very easy going with travellers. If you want to withdraw and just relax feel free. You can use the kitchen whenever you want. Shower whenever you want. I always try to make sure my travellers feel at ease and at home when they are staying here.

ABOUT ME:

My name is Vegard, 29 years old and currently studying and working towards EMT. I've always had a passion for traveling and meeting new people. My next destinations are Thailand, Philipines, Indonesia, China, Australia, Japan and South Korea.

I live in a city called Drammen. (35 minutes with train from Oslo, 1 hour from Gardermoen). The city is not as big as Oslo but is really great in the summer. A lot of green places, swimming possibilities and some great hiking possibilities.
During the winter I live 5 minutes from some ski slopes. So if you feel adventurous we can go skiing. Or clubbing. Whatever floats your boat :)

Buss to/from city: Every 10 minutes
Buss to/from train station: Every 10 minutes
Duration: 10 minutes buss ride.

Trains between Oslo - Drammen:
Trains to/from Oslo: Every 10-15 minutes
Duration: 30-35 minutes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a few travellers. Mostly groups of friends and singles. Not all was through couch-surfing as I've only been part of this community for about 2 years.

Interests

Mountain hiking for sure. Any activity that involves nature, mountains, tents, speed or danger. You can count me in. I'm also major into photography.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Activities in Drammen are very dependant on the season. For my surfers I usually suggest some of these:

Summer time:
- Hiking in Kjøsterudjuvet, Knabben and Mørkgonga.
- Swimming, city life, park.
- Silver Mines in Kongsberg.
- Spiralen
- City activities (Clubs, shopping streets, bars etc.)

Winter time:
- Skiing
- City activities (Clubs, shopping streets, bars etc.)

Plenty of other things to do.
