ABOUT ME

I am a 20 year old man from Norway. The most noteworthy thing about me is my political persuation. I am a communist, and active in a party called Red, and its youth branch known as Red Youth. I have been active with this since early 2009. This means simply that i oppose Capitalism, and recognize that it is a system that will, given the oppertunity, destroy mankind in its shameless hunt for profit. I ultimately work with trying to bring down this system and replace it with a system that is controlled by the people, for the people.

I am also into music. I play the bass quite poorly, and have plans of making a band somewhere in the close future.

I live in Norway, where I go to college. I am taking a masters degree that will, when finished, give me the title of "Lektor", pretty much a highschool teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Marxist. I view the world through a marxist analysis, and thus I disagree strongly with the way the world works. Summarizing this shortly and accurately here would be a herculean task, so i shall suffice to say that i want to change the world!

I am a fairly paranoid person, and quite sceptical of people. As such, the idea of having a complete stranger i met through a website sleep on my couch seems like madness! However, I am here to give it a shot.

I read a bit, most things from fantasy to political stuff. I am not sure what my favorite book is, but i do enjoy "a song of ice and fire", which is a series of books by George R. R. Martin. I also read a bit of marxist litterature, which is fun.

As for movies, i can watch almsot anything. I particularely enjoy "surreal realism", as it was once described to me, which are movies based in the real world but with supernatural phenomena. Like Groundhog day. I also enjoy sci-fi movies, and the occational brainless action movie along the lines of Die Hard.

I listen to many kinds of music too. I am one of those people who likes some music within every genre, but not every band. I am selective, yet very non-selective. However i stick to some degree to hiphop and various forms of rock.

In december 2009, when the top leaders of the world met in Copenhagen to discuss the climate, I traveled down with Red Youth, my youth communist party, and demonstrated in the streets with over a hundred thousand others for a different system. I carried a banner saying Capitalism (arrow to the right), Green future (arrow to the left). I met lots of great people, had a great time, and had an experience I will never ever forget.

This sounds like fun. Alright, well i can give you a detailed analysis of many aspects of society, and explain in detail why todays society needs to be replaced. I can also teach you some rudamentary bass playing and magic the gathering playing. I am open to learning pretty much everything.
