About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish scrapbooking my last trip before I embark on the next one

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as an easy going, happy, nice and sporty guy who's in love with life and enjoys spending time with people who likes a good laugh and intelligent conversation! I'll let you find out the rest for yourself!

PHILOSOPHY

Life philosophy:

Let us endeavor so to live that when we come to die, even the undertaker will be sorry
- Mark Twain

Traveling philosophy:

Adventure is a path. Real adventure - self-determined, self-motivated, often risky - forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind - and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.

- Mark Jenkins

Music, Movies, and Books

Like heaps of different types of music but my favourite I would have to admit is old-school rock and pop =p, all time top 5 include: Queen, Yann Tiersen, Bjorn Eidsvaag, Leonard Cohen & The Beatles

Also like some newer stuff like Florence and the Machine, MGMT, Little Red etc

For books I have been on a quest through the classics for the last 4 years now and it's been very rewarding! Some favourites include; To kill a mockingbird, Adventure of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, Grapes of Wrath, Moby Dick and so on and so forth

Favourite book of all time though would have to be The Road by Cormac McCarthy

My favourite movie is... Forrest Gump

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think being able to travel, seeing the world, meeting all these incredible people and making friends from every continent at the same time as having wonderful friends and a loving family back home in Tromso is pretty amazing in itself =)

Can't teach anyone anything as I'm pretty much useless...
