Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel, save $, and experience local life.
I’ve stayed mostly on the west coast and I need to venture out more, even if I have to do it alone!
I have made solo trips to LA and SoCal, SD, and Phoenix, where I’ve crashed with friends. I try to be clean and can offer to do some chores. Admittedly, one time I broke a bowl accidentally when I was staying with a college acquaintance, but I paid her back (if I do break anything, I can be responsible!). I've definitely learned a lot about sharing space with others, especially in college where I lived in a big farmhouse cooperative for 3 years!
Top cities on my mind: New York, Portland, Mexico City, Atlanta, Shanghai
I like the culture of being cultured. I think we should all be multilingual. And eat more yogurt haha.
Interests
Experiences-wise: I have studied in college a range of social sci, environmental and landscape architectural history and design courses.
Various part-time jobs and side gigs: debate judge --I was on the speech team in high school, taste tester studies, and more.
