Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Andrei, a game creator from Singapore 🇸🇬. I'm the founder of GhostBone Studio, currently working on a chaotic, heartfelt indie game called Otter Yakuza. It’s about otters, honor, crime, and turf wars — and we’re showcasing it at Tokyo Game Show 2025!
I'm curious, creative, respectful, and always up for a good conversation about games, art, or food. You can find me on Instagram at @veilski
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ll be in Japan from 22–30 September 2025 for Tokyo Game Show. This is my first time exhibiting at such a big event, and I'm traveling solo — I’d love to stay with locals to learn more about the culture, get tips about Tokyo, and share my story as an indie dev.
I’m not just looking for a place to sleep — I’m here to connect, share stories, and build friendships along the way.
Interests
I love the intersection of games, storytelling, and visual design. I’m deeply inspired by Japanese aesthetics, especially hand-drawn manga, old arcade games, and traditional architecture. My game Otter Yakuza reflects a lot of that!
In daily life, I’m either sketching characters, cooking noodle soups, or chasing my cat around the house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Built a game about otters taking on the Yakuza, pitched it to hundreds of people, and somehow ended up exhibiting it at Tokyo Game Show 2025!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to prototype a game idea, how to use Midjourney or AI tools for creativity and concepts, and how to start a comic or world-building project from scratch.
I’d love to learn more about Japanese environment and cities, I love to take photos of the cities, underground art scenes, or just local perspectives on anything from ramen to daily life.
