ABOUT ME
What's there to tell? I don't really like to talk about myself for long, but I guess what makes me what I am is the fact that I always want to experience something new. One of my worst nightmares is to end up in never-ending cycle of dull routines that I would repeat day after day after day. To avoid this I have made a habit of always saying yes to almost everything. The word 'yes' opens up possibilities whereas 'no' usually only closes them.
Like many I love travelling and my main reason for that love is that it is the best way to have long and interesting conversations whit wide range of people. In addition to that there is never as much possibilities for new experiences than when you are travelling.
I can be a bit on the weird side but then again who truly is a normal person? Unlike many finns, I actually like to speak to strangers on the bus and I just love odd topics for conversation, like what would it be like if earth was a cube instead of a globe? Some of my friends have pointed out that I sometimes speak too fast for anybody to understand what I am saying so please say if I am being incomprehensible.
So That's a very vague and small description of me. I am not probably the best person to talk about who I am, since I am still trying to get to know that person myself, but I hopefully this serves its purpose ^^
PHILOSOPHY
One of the most important things you can do in your life is to getting to know yourself and you can not truly know who you are until you have pushed yourself to your absolute limits.
Try to say yes as much as possible, read as much as possible and live as much as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I want to meet as much as possible of you other cs members by travelling and as soon as I get a descent apartment whit a comfortable couch I want to host as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a relatively new to this and I hope you don't hold it against me. I am very exited to build my experience as a cs member. The couple experiences I have on cs so far have been wonderful and it is just ridiculous how many awesome people there are here!
Interests
Having a good long conversation with different kinds of people is my biggest interest, but I do have my more solitary hobbies. I love reading and to me few things look as beautiful as a big ass bookshelf. Books are the perfect way of experiencing the many wonders of life when you have this little time to live. One other big interest of my may seem a bit dull, but its simply walking. Just walking around gives me the freedom to let my mind wonder and it opens up quite a few unique situations when I walk without any direction in particular. Once I ended up seeing a real life bear, when walking in the forest near my childhood home!
Some other interest of my life are:
Scuba-diving, folding origamis, hiking and hichhiking, running, writing, photography and playing pranks on my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Camino de Santiago was pretty amazing! The path took me for over 800km pilgrimage in northern Spain and and it took me about a month to walk. To this day I have done nothing that made such a lasting effect on me. There would be so much to say about this pilgrimage, but I feel like this is not the best place to tell about it. If you like we can have a talk about it if we will meet in person!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not what people would call "an artistic person" but there is one art form that I have found to help relive stress and its accessible nearly everywhere: Folding origami's. So do you want to learn how to make a crane out of paper? I can teach you that. How about a horse? Can do. A Nazgul? No, ask me again after 10 years and then I may be able to finally do it...
I am a amateur photographer (with one sold picture for 10$!). I can teach you the basics of SLR photography on aperture, shutter speeds, ISO sensitivity and depth of field. I can give some pointers on positioning your photos too. Just the basics tough, I am still learning this stuff myself ^^

Some day I would like to learn how to make good vegetarian food. I am not a vegetarian and I don't really have a huge ethical dilemma with meat, but I have quite a few vegetarian friends and it would be nice to be able to cook for them some good meals, like they have cooked for me many times in the past.
