ABOUT ME

hi everyone!, I'm Felipe, from Chile. I'm a journalism student and live in a city called Vina del Mar!

Ever since I was a child I've loved to travel and get to know people. Fortunately, I've learned that when travelling, the most enriching fact is to get immersed in the city you're visiting and with the local people. Dont be a simple tourist, go further!

Right now I'm in Canada, doing work&travel :))

I travel quite often and as I'm easy-going, I'm always up for meeting people.

My home in Chile is open to you all once I come back soon =)

From all my travellings, I've got to know very nice people. Couchsurfing is a great tool!

音乐、电影和书籍

Pretty much all kind of movies, action ones above all (kinda films like the "Bourne" ones), but also some drama ("Atonement), science fiction (28 days/weeks later) and of course comedy (Sacha Baron Cohen is hilarious!) Of course I go beyond the "hollywood material" and I enjoy watching other european, middle-eastern and asian films from time to time.

As for books, I like L.Tolstoy, A.Camus, E.Zola, T.More, T.Hobbes, K.Marx and A.Rousseau. I also enjoy a lot reading about economics and current affairs. Just to mention some of them, I'm the mind that the books, documents, essays and papers of N.Roubini, P.Krugman, J.Stiglitz are a great source of knowledge to understand what's happening right now and what could happen to the world in the short/medium/long term.

I'm really into indie music and rock, but I also like house, dance and some electro music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

All what nature and people can offer!

I remember a day I was on the mountain and it suddenly started snowing huge snow flakes. It wasnt a storm and nothing to worry about. It lasted no longer than a minute, so peaceful, so beautiful.

When I was a child my dream was to visit nyc. The 1st time I came I did it by myself and I got lost downtown. I was looking for my hostal and walking in circles. Then suddenly I turned around the corner and there it was, Times Square right in front of my nose. I found it without searching it. I freaked out like an hyper kiddo with sugar overdose.

And so many other life experiences. I love trekking and last summer I was on the swiss mountains. No matter how tired you might get after hours of ascent walking, once you get to the top of the mountain there are no words to describe how happy you feel of having accomplished to the summit.

I can talk for hours and I wont bore you, so dare me, haha! I like cooking too and what I enjoy the most is practicing languages. We all benefit from that =)
