Sarcasm and aspirations, duality and a gemini all at once. Right now working as a writer, mainly seeking conversation and a new direction to face. But also working as a chocolatier, keeping up my with my sweet tooth and always looking for new flavor combinations. I travel to eat and explore different cultures; though to me they're almost always linked together.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I surfed for quite a few years, mostly in Europe and some in the US. My best friend from childhood is an avid host and I often help her out by meeting some of the surfers for dinner or drinks or even just a chat. I really appreciate the network of people truly interested in traveling not just to explore the physical world but how we all relate in numerous and varied ways.

I really love reading essays and poetry. I'm always reading new books but some favorites are by Joseph Brodsky, Walt Whitman, Maggie Nelson, Raymond Carver, Eula Bliss.

Movies I can watch most things so long as they keep pace. I'm not too into screens usually but if it's beautiful and/or well-written I'm game.

Music is a great thing that I have a lot of interests in but they mostly stem toward underground american music including punk and garage but i also enjoy a lot of european bands too. it's hard to put a definition on the things that i like other than the time periods though because genre is all over the place.

Climbing spires and biking around Copenhagen by myself all day while eating at every restaurant I could get into every night.

Scuba diving off Grand Cayman to see tiny sharks nesting on the floor with some of the most amazing colors I've ever seen.

Driving with a college roommate all day just to make it into the Great Smoky mountains to watch the sun rise on Halloween morning. Then driving through the South for the next day and a half with her.

Staying out to see the sunrise while in Berlin.
