One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took an ultimate adventure 🙏 Lowcostrace

The low-cost race is a 10-day race. Each racer has approx. 100€ (200 for a team, couple) but every spent € means -1 point so you should basically spend no money on your journey (on transportation, food, accomodation..). There are 40 checkpoints in Europe, you have to visit as many as possible. At each of them, you are tasked with a challenge that test you to believe in yourself, others and shows you that almost everything is possible only with a smile on your face.

The challenge is an activity getting you closer to locals, to the culture and force you to enjoy something unusual. If you complete a checkpoint challenge, or other challenge (there is a list with 40+ daily ones), you are rewarded with points. e.g. - get invited to a wedding, party with police officers, hitchhike a plane, a boat, become a “star” (interview in TV, radio), make someone's day.. You always need to take a picture or make a video. The team with the highest score wins but the aim of the competition is the joy of travelling.

This race teaches you that you don’t need to have a big amount of money for travelling to experience something unique, interesting and unforgettable. It was a life changing experience 👌.
