I am a girl now live and study in Bergen, Norway.
Before this period of time, I almost stayed in a small town called art village in Taichung city, Taiwan for whole my life. I've traveled several times and countries though i've never really leave my home town.

Now I study architecture in Bergen, with desire to know more people and experience in different world. Various thoughts and architectures from my past.

During this half year, I have had some experience of couchsurfing with my friend. But i haven't yet had my own experience. Let me try and let me start ! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before i traveled to Nepal around a year before, I didn't really think to travel in this way. In Nepal I met some local person and we talked quite a lot in that three days. We shared a lot of different thoughts and cultural things, and one of them even took me to take local bus in local way( sitting on the top of bus) to one of the oldest and holiest temple.

Thus I think travel via couchsurfing I can have more and more this kind of unforgettable experience. :)

Interests

Travel of course. And reading books, another kind of travel through the imagination. I also love sketching. I sketch to show my passion to the scenes, life and architectures. And I write. Through witting, I collect stories, thoughts, scenes, and experience of life. Apart from these, I love puzzle( now I am so eager to solve puzzle....) as well~~

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically I love detective novels and movies. Apart from them I also read philosophy and literature. And due to my field of art and architecture, I also enjoy to read various graphic and design books.

For movie and music, it is hard to say which are my favourite. But I quite enjoy Pedro Almodóvar's movies, they always give me pleasantly surprised. And I also love some Japanese animations such as Tekkon Kinkreet. Kings of Convenience, Passenger and Calexico are what I listen most recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on the top of bus to commute in Nepal I think..
Taking 13 hours from Kolkata to Dhaka by bus, staying there to visit National Parliament House build by Louis I Kahn in 12 hours, and than taking 13 hours back to Kolkata again....?
I want to do more amazing things!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn some Chinese, I would happy to teach some. :D I also write calligraphy. I can draw your lovely home, your street, your home town as well, but maybe in some different way...( I am not so good at portraiture so let me pass this..>

What I Can Share with Hosts

Now I stay in a small student dorm in Bergen.
So what I have is one more mattress and a sleeping bag. I have one personal bathroom and a sharing kitchen. It is near by the city centre and easy to take bus. Better for a girl who travels alone and doesn't mind for such small space.

I still quite new be here. Though I know some nice routes to go hiking and some lovely cafe shops, but it will be wonderful to discover more places in this beautiful town together!
