ABOUT ME

Current Mission: to "Surf" Political centers of America, generally the east coast. I intend to 'surf' between D.C.(Primarialy) and Arlington, VA (off and on) for a project in the works, one of which is to publish empirically anthropological practices in exploring and travelling to meaningful epicenter of the world - a sort of advanced form of learning and intimate experience of what a city or district has to offer.

Past Missions included: Los Angeles (vibrant, highly populated, cultural epicenter) and Arizona (Tucson, Sedona, Pheonix, and Flagstaff; indian country).

I am a very amiamble, light hearted, very open to conversation, and deeply respect the couchsufing organization. Welcoming me to your couch would surely be a case of kind, warm hearted, welcoming and friendship.

I'm Part Venezuelan with 15% Carib Indian Genes, Part Italian, English, Spanish, and Very American. I've worked, met, and have family from many parts of the world. I am very good at international relations, and think of myself as a global citizen.

I study ANTHROPOLOGY, POLITICAL SCIENCE, and BROADCAST JOURNALISM. I can get pretty indepth into either one of theese subjects. In fact i enjoy and am passionate about exploring cities and towns, their characters, and cultural elements which make up its uniqeness in an anthropological and ethnographic vein... (i am currently collecting material for a book i want to write "An Anthropologist in D.C." perhaps to be published?? :) It would espouse a new way to explore, learn, and travel, and above all gain the knowledge and ethereal uniqueness of that local.
Very High-Brow and Well versed in MANY subjects,
Also a well versed Student of Carlos Castaneda's, "Path of Knowledge" an upcomming spirituality of the american south-west.

I like to stay in one town for about a week, to fully explore it, i am usually out about all day, simply just need a place to crash at the end of the night.

PHILOSOPHY

Living life the 'Good Life' with 'Good Energy'. I am extremely amiable due to my venezuelan genes, that's the big range of mountains, jungle, river deltas, grasslands, and coastal areas just at the north part of south america. I also believe that you can learn from anyone, always. I value a cozy casual environment over loud music and sit-coms. My personality is about as diverse as the amount of interests i have of the curiosities of the world. I enjoy listening actively to other peoples views and perspectives. And am extremly accomadating and always thinking of best ways to give some good-will to another person. Not to mention an open mind and an open heart.

Sharing Stories and Knowledge (Preferably over a cup of coffee)

There is a vertical aspect of being which is concerned with interests of ethics and the self (perhaps the spirit-ual side?), and a horizontal aspect which is the concerns and demands of the social and actions;

A well rounded person can relate on a sliding scale system of demands of lifestyle, by acknowledging and investigating the demands of another human-being face to face, and on a similar emotional level, while simultaneously on the up-and-up, for the higher, or high brow, nature of humanity to understand the philosophies of life and how best to live. I believe we are "Political Animals" - Aristotle; This means management, manners, ethics, give and take, kindness, praise for good works, knowledge of self (which means knowledge of others), and simple quietude which my favorite spiritualist says is the key to everything humanly possible.
