plant a seed of friendship; reap a bouquet of happiness
ABOUT ME
Hi everyone. I'm Vesna, a CS-member since 2010. I am here 'cause I love meeting new wonderful people! :)
I was born, grew up and lived in Bosnia, but one day, due as much to the external circumstances well known from the news, as to my pioneering spirit, I packed my suitcase and I began my new life in Munich.
On my way I did diverse things such as: selling cheese, bartendering, teaching languages, translating comics, interpreting for the refugees, programming websites. I assisted in a bindery for hand-crafted books, I traded Eames chairs I found in the garbage, I worked in a biochemical laboratory for a Nobel laureate, and wrote user manuals for medical devices, such- as bone mill ;) I am currently working as an environmental engineer.
Furthermore I organized some cool cultural projects in Munich, such as:
* Wostoks exhibition-Wostok is serbian underground comic author* concert of "Starke" - a bosnian feminist electronic trio from Sarajevo, * piano classical music concert
You see, I'm so versatile and flexible ;) I can even make my toes touch my ears when I'm sitting down ^_^
PHILOSOPHY
I would call myself a secular humanist. I live in the present but pay due attention to the future.

MY OPINION ABOUT COUCHSURFING.ORG
I am concerned because Couchsurfing.org has changed its organizational orientation from a non-profit, commons-based project towards a for-profit company in 2011. I do not like the loss of transparency and privacy. Thats why I've been thinking about switching to an alternative hospitality platform.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I succeeded to touch my nose with my tongue.
Teach, Learn, Share
Me? I can show you interesting places in my city. If you are lucky, I might take you to a party or interduce you to some of my lovely friends. I can teach you how to make homemade soap. And everything about baby slings, wraps and carriers.
You? Maybe you know some guitar or ukulele tricks? Or some tasseography? Or you could teach me how to cook new stuff?
